About Liz
“People photography” is the perfect combination of two things I love… taking photographs and meeting new people. My passion for portraiture is rooted in the belief that family photos are priceless.
I have the great joy and privilege of being a portrait photographer, specializing in both environmental, natural-light photography and studio portraiture. My clients range in age from 9 days old to 99 years young; I love photographing people of all ages, experiencing different phases in their lives.
I have lived in the South Bay for over 25 years. After graduating from USC, I completed a masters program in 1998 with award winning photographer, Bobbi Lane. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to study with internationally recognized photographers Tony Corbell and Bambi Cantrell, Robert Love, Julia Dean, Janel Pahl, Sharon Lobel and many more. Additionally, I’ve studied photography at UCLA, Marymount College, the California Photographic Workshops, the Julia Dean Photo Workshops and the West Coast School for Professional Photographers. I am trained in Special Needs photography. As a member of Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of Los Angeles County, I continue to study with professional photographers throughout the year.
I am pleased to support local and national organizations. I have been involved with the American Cancer Society, Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Center, Friends of St. Lawrence-Watts Youth Center, South Bay Children’s Health Center, American Martyrs Church & School, Downs Syndrome Association of Los Angeles, Sandpipers, Marymount High School and many other schools across southern California.
